Styr is one of the longest surviving weapons manufacturers in Known Space.
The Styr Kralle is a bullpup assault rifle. 'Kralle' is German for 'Mauler'. Standard, the Kralle has a thirty round magazine of 7.62x51mm cartridges. It shares some design with the legendary AUG made in the 20th Century in the stock and receiver.
The Kralle was intended for Austrian military personnel as well as security guards on deep space military vessels. The Kralle has amazing accuracy and fire rate, plus the bullpup configuration makes the weapon easier to handle. In addition, the weapon can be configured with many different attachments and roles, including but not limited to sniper, LMG, and grenadier roles.
The weapon has very much love from its users and has seen use in multiple Marine and Army battalions throughout the UNSC.
