A Little Vacation

An unexpected two day vacation really helped me relax. As of tonight, after a great meal which included my new beer sweetheart Rickard's Red, as well as a Russian beer called Baltika 7 to help expand my alcoholic palette, I retire to a high rise Niagara Falls hotel room which offers me a great view of the falls themselves, tinged blue in the night-time illumination. It gives me some time to write and unwind. 

I feel so full I could hibernate after our dinner and tomorrow we will be going around and doing whatever comes to mind. The drive home will be long, but hey, I'm enjoying it so far. 

Also, been working on personal sketches which include body studies, particularly upper body. I may post some when I'm done but for now they're for my benefit when I head back. I hope to practice some life drawing too with my as of now new equipment, and if I really get some steam going, I'll finish my next Great War story.

'Alone' seems to have picked up a bit of popularity so I'll be continuing the Great War series of one-shots whenever I think of something to expand on. Naturally if anyone has anything to say I'm all ears.
